About Client: Daikin is a Japanese multinational air conditioner manufacturing company headquartered in Osaka. It has operations in Japan, China, Australia, India, Philippines, Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. Daikin is the inventor of variable refrigerant volume and an innovator in the split system air conditioning market.

Venue: Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, New Delhi

Number Of Visitors: 3000-4000

Date: 13th April-14th May 2017

Aim: To engage the public in the stadium.

About Activity: The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional Twenty20 Cricket league in India contested during April and May of every year by teams representing Indian cities. The Delhi Daredevils are a franchise cricket team representing the city of Delhi n the India Premier League founded in 2008 as one of the eight founding teams of the IPL, the Delhi franchise is owned by the GMR Group. Daikin has been the principal sponsor of Delhi Daredevils since 3 years now.

Task: MagicTap was given the responsibility to engage the public in the stadium. We brought out our very own Chroma based GIF booth where the visitors could come and dance with their favorite players. All they had to do was to select their favorite group they want to dance with. That players’s video would appear on the screen and after the countdown to 3, they would start dancing with their players on “DoTheGolGattam” song. In the end, a GIF would be created which could be shared on their e-mail ids as well as on their Facebook page. The activity was a huge success. It brought out the smiles, the craziness, wild side and funkiness among everyone. People lined up to get their GIFs made. Each day just got better and better.
